How to Give

Designate Your Donation Support:

GENERAL DONATION
As a charitable, not-for-profit long-term care home, Ina Grafton Gage Home can always use funding in the form of general donations. As we look into the future, it is evident that to continue providing our quality long-term care for seniors, we need to follow the lead of other service institutions such as hospitals and universities, and adopt capital, operational and endowment fundraising as part of our everyday business.

OPERATIONS FUND
Ina Grafton Gage Home is proud of providing specialized and culturally sensitive programs and services. Aging seniors tend to revert to their original language, while culture and religion play an increasingly important role. Special events, cultural outings and celebration of holidays make up daily life at Ina Grafton Gage Home. Specialized programs and services help our most frail seniors improve their functioning and promote feelings of self-worth and accomplishment.

BUILDING FUND
Your donation will help us maintain a secure and safe home for existing and future residents. Bedrooms need to be redecorated, furniture replaced, and most importantly our old beds and mattresses need to be changed to modern adjustable beds with compatible mattresses to relieve aches and pains. The Building Fund will raise the urgently needed dollars to continue the excellence Ina Grafton Gage Home is providing in all its programs and services.

EDUCATION FUND
Health care is a rapidly changing field, and we need to invest in training and education to provide new treatments, employ best practices and provide the highest quality of care for our seniors. Your donation will provide the means for healthcare, support, administrative staff, family members and volunteers to participate in education, training and skills development sessions to meet the needs of existing and future residents.

Continual education, training and skills development of our Registered Nurses, clinical and non-clinical staff and management directly improves the lives of our residents. Our healthcare and support staff want to provide the highest quality of care and heartfelt compassion for our residents. 100% recognize the importance of our extensive and thorough training and education sessions. Accountability, emotional support, follow-through, quality healthcare, consistency in communications and performance, and teamwork are the goals of our education program. Ina Grafton Gage Home will always be a cherished home for our seniors if we continue to have a staff of dedicated, highly qualified, self-learning professionals; empowered volunteers and educated family members.

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
The funding provided by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care covers all the basic needs of a resident: food, shelter, medication, nursing assistance… but it does not provide funding for things that Make Life Worth Living. Accordingly, the IGGH Family Council has decided to implement this fundraising campaign to bring some basic comforts to the home. These needs include: a sensory room, an outdoor yard/garden, group outings via wheel-chair transportation, and more recreational activities.
