Ina Grafton Gage Home is a 128-bed, charitable, not-for-profit, long-term care home located in Scarborough, Ontario. We are committed to achieving excellence in service delivery in a setting that is sensitive and respectful to the cultural and spiritual needs of everyone we serve.
Our interdisciplinary professional healthcare team includes: physicians, nurses, a dietician, a pharmacist, a physiotherapist, and a recreation therapist, who focus on the needs of our residents and improve quality of life in a culturally sensitive caring environment.
As an organization we value independence, self-sufficiency, the importance of family, maintaining active lives, and caring for one another, which underpin our philosophy of care.
Our barrier-free facility, with secure grounds, balconies, lounges, and dining rooms, create a homelike environment for our residents. The on-site Chapel hosts religious and spiritual services of several denominations. We support and encourage resident’s own community clergy to visit and tend to individual spiritual needs.
Quality of Care
We help our residents experience life to the fullest in a home-like setting with the highest quality of service and professional care. Our multidisciplinary healthcare team provides care and services to our residents with volunteers and families playing an active and special role in improving the quality of life for our residents.
Types of Accommodation
Ina Grafton Gage Home has two types of room accommodations: Private and Basic. The government expects each resident to pay at minimum the basic accommodation fee regardless of which room type is selected. Government subsidies are available for those residents who select a Basic room and are deemed eligible based on a Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care financial means assessment. Private rooms have a preferred accommodation charge that is payable in addition to the basic fee.
