Our highly qualified, energetic, and compassionate Recreation Team offer programs to meet the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of all the residents we serve. Our home like environment is conducive to supporting the provision of programming in various settings within Ina Grafton Gage Home and includes places such as recreation rooms on each unit, therapy room, library, outdoor balconies and patio with gardens, and chapel.
Programs aim to promote socialization, a sense of community, and enhance the emotional well-being of our residents.
Recreation Therapy programs are also offered and are specifically designed to help residents with cognitive and/or physical impairments build on existing abilities and strengths, increase self-esteem, and function at their highest possible level. These programs are flexible to the uniqueness of each resident and take place on a one-to-one or small group basis. To ensure their needs are met, our Recreation Team identifies each resident’s interests and level of ability to help match them to programs they would enjoy and benefit from.
